How this house treats your privacy, stated plainly, and a thank-you that was owed before anything else got built.
This house works in the open, on purpose. The rules we measure are public law, published for anyone to read. The record we build is built from public sources. When we audited our own website, we published the audit, and the page that carries our standing prints what falls short as plainly as what stands done.
Your privacy sits inside the same rule, and it is simple. We do not store your data. There is no account to create on this site, no tracker following you from page to page, and no profile being built on you while you read. What you do here is your business. We do not collect it and we do not sell it, because we never hold it.
If that is how you believe this work should be done, say so out loud. Accountability grows when people stand up in the open and let themselves be counted. If you feel like that, hit the button.
Tapping the button is the whole of it. We ask for nothing else: no name, no address, no account.
Before anything else is said on this page, something is owed.
I wore the uniform for 23 years of my life. I served in the Air Force and the Army, and the people I served beside are the finest I have ever known. They taught me the only rules this company runs on: do the work right, do it in the open, and answer for it.
So the first thank-you this house ever publishes goes to them. To my brothers and sisters in uniform, the ones I served with and the ones still standing watch tonight: thank you. This page is yours.

Named first, the way they were named to me: the Power Production crews, who kept the lights on everywhere the flag went.
Every name below is a friend whose own profile states the service printed beside it. Nothing here is guessed, and nothing is padded.
This roll was built only from what each person's own Facebook profile states in public. If your name belongs here and it is missing, if your service is stated wrong, or if you would rather not be named, write to [email protected] and it will be put right in the open, the same way it was built.
The second thank-you on this page goes to the people I learned beside.
In the fall of 2024, I was part of Cohort 30 of the EdD in Organizational Change & Leadership at the University of Southern California. We came from hospitals and fire departments, schoolhouses and boardrooms, the Army and the ministry, and what we did together, session after session, was talk. Different ways of looking at the same problem. Exploring an idea just to see where it went. I still remember those conversations, and I remember coming to understand how each of them thinks.
That is what I took away from there, and it is in everything this house builds. To my classmates of Cohort 30: thank you. The room made me better.
These names are the cohort's own, from the introduction book Cohort 30 made for itself in the fall of 2024. If you sat in that room and your name is missing, or it is printed wrong, write to [email protected] and it will be put right in the open.
If you wore the uniform and you follow what this house is building, the thank-you above was written for you too.
Your service cannot be read from here, and we will not guess at it. Guessing has no place on a page about honor. So stand up the same way the roll was built: in the open, in your own words. Write to [email protected], state your service the way you state it yourself, and your name takes its place on this page.
The last thank-you on this page is the first one I ever owed.
There is a piece in our family that has come down hand to hand, the way the things that matter do. My grandmother had it first. She passed it to my mother, and my mother passed it to me. Three generations of hands, and it has outlasted every wall it ever hung on.
At its center is the Serenity Prayer, with light watercolor flowers painted around it, soft the way she liked a room to feel. It is the prayer my mother lived by, carried the way she carried everything: without complaint, and without show.
We have turned it agentic here, the way this house turns everything it is trusted with: the prayer set in the middle of the shield, the flowers kept in the same light hand. Her piece, carried into the work.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
Everything this house stands for, I saw my mother live first. So this one is hers. To my mother: thank you. It started with you.
